GeoTrends and Web Server Logs

When GeoTrends is installed, geographical data associated with visitors is added to the SDC log file under the field name dcs-geo. This field appears after the field cs(Referer).

As shown in the log file example below, the GeoTrends data is in italics. The sample file has been split over several lines so you can read it more easily:

To determine geographical data based on other, custom parameters, you must add custom attributes to the Visitor event, or create Custom Events based on those parameters.
