Setting Up Notifications

Set the Notify settings to notify users when data scheduling completes successfully or when it encounters errors.

You can create rules to notify different Webtrends users by email when successes or problems occurs. Rules can specify that email addresses are included only in the Copy or Blind Copy fields. Users are alerted using the email address associated with their Webtrends user accounts. Use multiple rules to create multiple

For example, you may choose to send success messages only to business analysts so they know when new data is available. Messages about errors can be sent only to the Webtrends administrator and copied to the technical support department. You can specify a maximum 10 email addresses for each data capture or data extract. To notify more users, you can send a notification to a distribution list.

To access the Notify settings, edit a data capture or export in the Data Scheduler.
