In a comparative date range display, a positive or negative percentage that indicates the size of the
increase or decrease between the first and second date range. A value of 100% indicates that the
second date range’s value is twice that of the first date range’s value; that is, 100% more than the first
value. Percent change is calculated by subtracting the first date range’s value from the second date
range’s value and dividing the result by the value of the first.
