Visitor data collected in Webtrends Segments can be imported into Optimize for use in
From the navigation menu, click Library.
Select the Segments tab and then click Import.
Select a segment item from the list to begin the import definition process.
The data import is based on the audience identified in the selected segment.
Additional segments can be added to the list for import via the Webtrends
Enter a Request Name for the data extract request, this name will be
used to automatically title the imported data table and segment.
This is a required field.
Determine the Import schedule:
Example: Set the Data window to "Last 7 days" and the Data refresh frequency
to "Daily" to set up a rolling 7 day data import; Optimize will import the last
7 days' worth of data from Webtrends Segments on a daily schedule.

By default, each import includes the Basic data set; a
list of Raw Visitor IDs collected by Webtrends Segments.
Select the Include additional data
Optimize will load all available Webtrends Segments business
Select one Business Object from the drop-down
list. Only one additional business object can be included in the
Select as many Data fields from the selected
business object as needed.
These additional fields will be available for use in Optimize
segmentation following data import.
Optimize will then schedule the data import with Webtrends Segments and
auto-generates data table and segment objects in the Library tab of the console.
Imported data is stored in the data table for use in segmentation, including
any additional data fields from a business object.
The auto-generated segment compares the Visitor Unique ID (UID) value to the
list of Raw Visitor IDs imported from Webtrends Segments, this allows visitors
from the list to be easily targeted for Optimize testing.
