Managing Score Data
Your Score data resides in a Visitor Data Mart along with the Visitor Data Mart data you are scoring.
Your data is retained using the Event Retention settings for your Visitor Data Mart profile in Webtrends Administration. Score data is cleared using the same event-specific retention setting used for Visit events. To access these settings, edit the profile in Administration and click Events > Event Retention .
Clearing Score Data Manually
You can clear Score data in two ways:
- When you save a rule set, Score prompts you to retain or clear data associated with the rule set. You can clear data at the rule set level by selecting Clear all existing Score data and start analyzing from today. Score clears all data created before the change the next time scoring occurs.
- You can clear Score data for all active rule sets using the Clear Data setting. The Clear Data setting does not clear data for inactive rule sets.
To clear data for active rule sets:
- In the left pane, click Settings.
- Click Clear Data.
- Type the number of previous days of data you want to delete.
- Click Clear.
Your data is marked for deletion and is cleared the next time scoring occurs. Each active rule set shows a status of Pending Clear until scoring occurs and the data is deleted.
