Webtrends Basic Parameters Used for SharePoint

These parameters have additional uses with SharePoint data collection.

WT.cg_n

Site Collection/Site name. If you do not want to collect this information on a SharePoint site, change the Webtrends JavaScript content setting to false.

Syntax for use with Analytics for SharePoint

WT . cg_n = Human Resources Portal
Valid Value: Alphanumeric strings (maximum length 64 bytes)

WT.cg_s

Individual content and document names. If you do not want to collect this information on a SharePoint site, change the Webtrends JavaScript content setting to false.

Syntax used in Analytics for SharePoint

WT . cg_s = Company Policies
Valid Value: Alphanumeric strings (maximum length 64 bytes)

WT.oss

Identifies a word or a phrase that visitors submit for an OnSite search.

Search Phrase can be any string used by a visitor in an OnSite search tool.

Syntax

WT . oss = Search Phrase
Valid Value: Alphanumeric string

WT.oss_r

Identifies whether or not an OnSite search is successful. This parameter should be specified on the same hit as WT.oss and should be set to the number of results whenever the OnSite search is successful, or to 0 when the search fails (no result).

Webtrends Analytics uses this parameter in preconfigured custom report filters. Webtrends Visitor Data Mart uses it provide data for the Number of Results attribute.

A missing WT.oss_r parameter in the presence of the WT.oss parameter is interpreted as the same as WT.oss_r=0 (search failure).
