Gathering External Report Data

Website spaces display data from Bit.ly, Twitter, and Facebook metrics on page dashboards, but these data sources do not have separate reports. An account may or may not allow external data spaces to be created, and Administrators control which users can view spaces that contain only external data.

If you have an Apple developer account, you can connect to iTunes when you create an iOS App space to gather revenue and download data from the iTunes App Store. When you select an app from the App Store, Analytics 10 also retrieves the app icon and name for you.

Facebook Page and App spaces display data from the Facebook Graph API. If your Facebook app has been set up to use the Webtrends JavaScript tag additional reporting is available; however the key metrics continue to display Facebook Graph API data.

YouTube spaces display data from the YouTube API. If your YouTube space has been set up to use the Webtrends JavaScript tag additional reporting is available.

When you create a space that includes external data, Analytics 10 retrieves as much historical data as the data provider allows.
