Custom Reports - General

Use this dialog to specify identifying information for a custom report.

Field Descriptions

Name

In the Name text box, type a unique name to identify the report when you select it in a profile.

Title

In the Title text box, type a title for the report. Webtrends displays this title at the top of the report, in the report's Table of Contents, and in report template settings. To ensure that the table of contents is readable, you should keep report titles short.

Category

In the Category list, select a category with which to classify this report. If you do not select a category, the report is assigned to the Default category. To create a new category, click Configure the Categories.

Short Description

In the Short Description text box, type the description you want Webtrends to display at the top of the report.

Help Card Description

In the Help Card Description text box, type any explanatory information you want Webtrends to display about this report. Webtrends displays this information in the Help Card area below the report table.

Note: Some preconfigured custom reports specify strings surrounded by %%. These strings are tokens that refer to localized text. If you change the tokens, the localized text function does not work. Also, these tokens are specific to the custom reports that use them. If you copy a custom report containing a token, you should replace the token with your own text.
